Join us for a fun filled day of non-stop events at Queens County Fair Grounds, Caledonia. Sponsored by: North Queens Board of Trade, Heritage Canada, Region of Queens Municipality, Local Businesses and Organizations.
The day begins at 10:00 am with a Pancake, Sausage, and Beverage Brunch in the Dining Hall, made by the Historical Society group, followed by Opening Ceremonies at the Fair Grounds at 1:00 pm, with the Official Flag Raising, Singing of O Canada with Malcolm Freeman and friends, sharing of the Canada Day Cake. There will be music, children’s games, live fish pond, washer toss, cake walks, the signature “Ron Frail Memorial Women’s Fry Pan Toss”, Fire Fighter's demonstration, Country Music Show by “Rosie”, a Classic Car Show including trucks, cars, and motor cycles, all the oldies and goodies, from 4:00 – 8:00, traditional Board of Trade 1/4 lb home made hamburgers, hot dog and sausage BBQ and cold drinks, tea, coffee, beans and brown bread, and homemade pie made by the United Church Women Caledonia, and just plain fun for the entire family, concluding with the band George Chouinard & No Borders from 5:00 – 9:00pm and the grand finale fireworks over Mary Lake at dusk.
